OUTDOOR ADVERTISING SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

Horton Outdoor, LLC – Georgia, Alabama, Florida

Growing outdoor advertising (billboard) company is looking for an experienced salesperson with exposure to advertising and marketing assignments.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience
  • Energetic & self-motivated
  • Outgoing personality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ready to handle multiple-assignments and cold-calls
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license/auto insurance
  • Creative mind (graphics design exposure would be a big benefit)
  • Good computer skills

Responsibilities: 


  • Target every business within assigned territory/account list via cold calling and in-person visits
  • Visit each established Horton Outdoor customer at least once per month
  • Prepare written presentations, reports and proposals
  • Maintain accounts receivable
  • Continually develop new product knowledge and acquire better selling skills
  • Keep abreast of competition – particularly newspaper, radio, TV, cable and yellow pages
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, business networking events, seminars and trade shows
  • Check digital rotations, lights, board visibility etc. on a regular basis
  • Follow-up on all client production orders and insure campaigns begin and end as the client requested
  • Meet and exceed sales goals

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • BA/BS in Business Administration or Communications is preferable
  • Previous sales experience required
